Take the Ice with the Hawks September 27-29
Aspiring young hockey stars can meet and learn from Waterloo Black Hawks players at Young Arena September 27th through 29th during the 2015 Waterloo Black Hawks Fantasy Hockey Camp for Kids, the team announced Thursday.
Registrations for camp participants at the mite, squirt, and peewee levels will be accepted immediately. Black Hawks players will administer on- and off-ice skill development and training sessions each day. In addition, youth players will have the chance to mingle with the 2015/16 Waterloo team for photos and autographs during a skating and pizza party. Each participant will also receive a camp jersey and ticket voucher for a select 2015/16 Black Hawks home game.
“This is an opportunity to spend three days, including four one hour on-ice sessions, with the entire Black Hawks team while getting some valuable ice time at the start of the season,” said Black Hawks Head Coach P.K. O’Handley. “This will be a lot of fun, as well as being a great way to get ready for the beginning of the youth hockey schedule.”
Space is limited; sign-up for the 2015 Waterloo Black Hawks Fantasy Hockey Camp for Kids will be capped at 30 kids in each age group: mite, squirt, and peewee. The cost is $225 per participant, which may be divided into June, July, and August installments of just $75 per month.
