Hawks Go 22 Rounds on Day Two

The Waterloo Black Hawks wrapped up the 2015 United States Hockey League Draft Tuesday with 22 selections during Phase Two of the two-day process.

Shortly after 8 a.m. – with the sixth pick during the second round – the Hawks made their first choice of the day: forward Brandon Schultz.  In 2014/15, the 18-year-old led the Janesville Jets of the North American Hockey League with 28 goals in 56 games.  Schultz also contributed 30 assists and was +35, the second-best plus/minus differential on the team.  During the league’s Robertson Cup playoffs, he has notched another eight points in just seven appearances.
