For 29 National Hockey League teams, June’s most exciting moments will be this weekend in south Florida, when a future crop of potential stars is chosen during the 2015 NHL Draft.
Throughout the month, we have been reviewing the most memorable moments celebrated by Waterloo Black Hawks players recognized by NHL Central Scouting as candidates to be selected. For forward Brock Boeser, we’re going to do something a little different.
As Boeser bids to become the first Waterloo player drafted among the first 30 picks in 23 years, he is taking over the Waterloo Black Hawks Twitter feed, @BlckHawksHockey, on Wednesday from 4 to 5 p.m. (Central Time).
Ask Brock about HIS favorite games from a season in a Black Hawks sweater, which included a league-leading total of 35 goals.
Ask him about being selected for the All-USHL and USHL Rookie First Teams.
Ask him about the excitement of being considered a first-round draft candidate.
Ask him about having the USHL’s sickest flow and how many mouth guards he chewed through in 57 USHL games.
Just make sure to be near your phone, tablet, or computing devices Wednesday from 4-5 p.m.
