Regular Season Tickets Available Next Week

The Waterloo Black Hawks provided an update regarding ticket availability on Wednesday:

• Seats for Waterloo’s preseason game against the Dubuque Fighting Saints on Friday, September 11th are on sale now by phone and in person at Young Arena.  All seating is reserved.  All tickets are $7.  Season ticket holders will be admitted as part of their season ticket package.

• Full event and single day admission passes for the 2015 Iowa Classic presented by Luann Gerber of Revolution Realty Team at Young Arena September 17th-19th are also now available by phone and in person.  All seating for the event is general admission.  Full event tickets for the three-day gathering are $15, while the single day option is $7.  Season ticket holders will be admitted as part of their season ticket package.

• Single game tickets for the Black Hawks’ home opener on Saturday, September 26th against the Muskegon Lumberjacks and all other 2015/16 United States Hockey League regular season games will go on sale Tuesday, September 1st at 11 a.m.  New group reservations for the team’s Budweiser Hospitality Area will also be accepted beginning at this time.

• Online ordering for all games will be available soon from waterlooblackhawks.com.

“Fans turned out last weekend for our scrimmages against the Madison Capitols; there is no doubt that the Cedar Valley is looking forward to hockey season just as much as we are,” said Black Hawks Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Greene.

More than 2,400 fans per night were behind the Hawks during home games last season.  The team’s average attendance has now been over 80% of Young Arena’s seating capacity for each of the past 12 consecutive seasons.
