Last Chance for Fantasy Camp

Parents interested in giving their kids an exciting opportunity to take the ice before the beginning of youth hockey season still have a little time to complete registrations for the 2015 Waterloo Black Hawks Fantasy Camp for Kids.

A little time, but not much.

Just a few mite, squirt, and peewee slots remain for the September 27th through 29th event at Young Arena.  The final registration deadline will be Saturday, September 19th during the closing game of the 2015 Iowa Classic between the Black Hawks and the Cedar Rapids RoughRiders.

The entire Black Hawks team will administer on- and off-ice skill development and training sessions each day.  The roster of Black Hawks players anticipated to be assisting with the coaching includes veteran forwards Liam Pecararo and Ronnie Hein, defensemen Phil Beaulieu and Sam Rossini, and All-USHL goaltender Cale Morris.  Also expected are NHL Draft picks Karlis Cukste (5th Round, San Jose Sharks) and David Cotton (6th Round, Carolina Hurricanes).

In addition, youth players will have the chance to mingle with the 2015/16 Waterloo team for photos and autographs during a skating and pizza party.  Each participant will also receive a camp jersey and ticket voucher for a select 2015/16 Black Hawks home game.  The cost is $225 per participant.

See the 2015 Waterloo Black Hawks Fantasy Hockey Camp for Kids flyer for more details including basic schedule information, terms, and conditions.  To register, visit the Black Hawks’ offices at Young Arena or call (319) 232-3444.
