Black Hawks Announce Country Night

Presented by Deringer’s and K-98.5

Break out the boots and cowboy hats when the Waterloo Black Hawks host Country Night on Saturday, February 13th during a 7:05 game against the Lincoln Stars, sponsored by Deringer’s Public Parlor in Cedar Falls and K-98.5 FM, Continuous Country Favorites.

Fans will enjoy both styles of music played throughout the game: country and western, while having the chance to meet Bucky Doren and Laine Brooks from K-98.5’s Bucky-N-Brooks morning show.  There will also be an opportunity to win a pair of tickets to see Luke Bryan at UNI on February 20th.  After the game, pick up a coupon for a buy-one-get-one-half-off beverage special at Deringer’s Public Parlor, a true country bar located at 314½ Main Street in Cedar Falls.

“We’re always looking for ‘fun’ and ‘new’ here in Party Town,” said Waterloo Black Hawks Vice President of Sales and Marketing Joe Greene.  “With Bucky-N-Brooks in the house, we’ve certainly got something fun, and with Deringer’s, there’s something new.  This is going to be a great time.”

K-98.5 listeners should keep an ear out for details about a special ticket offer to sit in the K98.5 Party Zone.  The Black Hawks have also made arrangements to bring live country music to the Coors Light Cold Zone during the game.  Jesup singer/songwriter Clint Fortier will be on hand singing his own tunes, as well as several country favorites.

Tickets for the February 13th matchup against the Lincoln Stars, and all 2015/16 Black Hawks home games, are available now by calling the Domino’s Black Hawks Box at (319) 291-7680 or online from
