Skaters as Waiters Rescheduled

The Waterloo Black Hawks’ “Skaters as Waiters” event has been rescheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 on Tuesday, February 16th at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery on University Avenue in Waterloo.  Due to winter weather, the event had to be postponed from its original date.

Join the Waterloo Black Hawks for Skaters as Waiters on Tuesday, February 2nd at Perkins Restaurant and Bakery, 3280 University Avenue in Waterloo.

During the evening, Black Hawks players will assist the Perkins staff and meet fans right at their tables between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m.  Players will be available for photos and autographs all throughout the evening.

Any “tips” which the team collects will be donated to Give Kids The World, a non-profit organization that exists to fulfill the wishes of all children with life-threatening illnesses and their families from around the world to experience a memorable, joyful, cost-free visit to Central Florida attractions.  Over 143,000 children have had their dream come true at Give Kids The World.  Last season’s Skaters as Waiters event raised over $400 for the organization.

Tuesday evenings are also “Kids Eat Free” Nights at Perkins.  Families can enjoy one free kids meal for each adult entre purchased at regular price.
