Chick-fil-A Available During Black Hawks Games

Beginning Friday evening when the Waterloo Black Hawks host the Sioux City Musketeers at Young Arena, hockey fans will be able to enjoy Chick-fil-A sandwiches and meals at the rink for the first time.

The team and Chick-fil-A revealed the partnership on Thursday.

“I would like to thank our new Chick-fil-A franchise here in Waterloo for their enthusiasm and the excitement they have brought to this endeavor,” noted Black Hawks Vice President of Business Operations Joe Greene.  “Having a familiar, brand-name meal option on game nights represents another part of our ongoing process to bring Black Hawks fans new opportunities, choices, and experiences when they come out to cheer on the team.”

“We are excited about this partnership,” added Chick-fil-A Waterloo franchise owner Mitch Edge, “We’re not just in the chicken business – we’re in the people business. Our goal is to provide a remarkable experience for every customer, every time, by serving food our guests can truly feel good about eating, providing sincere hospitality and being a good neighbor in the Waterloo community. We feel that this partnership with the Waterloo Black Hawks and their fans aligns with our vision.”

The Chick-fil-A window above Section R will open at 6:00 p.m. on all remaining 2016/17 regular season game nights, offering chicken sandwiches, chips, fruit cups, cookies and drinks.  Individual menu items, along with combo boxed meals, will be available for purchase.  Cash, checks, and all major credit cards will be accepted at the Chick-fil-A window.

This season, many Black Hawks fans have enjoyed free Chick-fil-A sandwiches by showing their ticket stubs during the week after any home game in which Waterloo scores two or more goals.  That promotion will continue, however fans may only redeem their free chicken sandwich in the Chick-fil-A restaurant at 1331 Flamming Drive.  The promotion is NOT redeemable at the concession area on game nights.
