Karen’s Print Rite presents an update on top performances by former Black Hawks each week with the Alumni Three Stars of the Week feature.
#3 – Nick Ebert
Texas Stars (AHL) • Defenseman
Last weekend, Ebert and the Stars faced their in-state rivals, the San Antonio Rampage, for a home-and-home series. Friday, Ebert assisted on the Texas goal which gave the Stars their only lead during a 3-2 loss. Saturday, he set up the game’s opening goal, then scored one himself with just 2:54 remaining in regulation to lift his team to a 2-1 victory. During the two game set, Ebert was +2. He is now up to six goals and seven assists in 36 appearances during 2016/17.
#2 – Eamon McAdam
Missouri Mavericks (ECHL) • Goalie
Over the course of three appearances, McAdam was both very busy and very successful. He and the Mavericks won games on Friday, Saturday, and Tuesday. All three games were against the Wichita Thunder, and two went to overtime. Although he was touched for six goals in Saturday’s game, McAdam delivered a season-best 47-saves during a 7-6 overtime win. He turned away 33 of 34 during a 2-1 affair Tuesday. In 15 ECHL appearances this season, McAdam is 9-3-1.

Anaheim Ducks (NHL) • Defenseman
Montour was recalled by the Ducks for the second time this season on Saturday. Hours later he was in the lineup when Anaheim visited the Tampa Bay Lightning. Just over eight minutes into the game, Montour blasted in his first National Hockey League goal. He ended the night +1 while skating for over 20 minutes. He also took the ice in Anaheim’s 4-1 Tuesday loss to the New York Rangers. In total, Montour has dressed for seven NHL contests this season.
