On the bench for over 1,000 USHL regular season games, Todd Klein is the longest-serving member of the Black Hawks staff. He joined the club for the 1996/97 season and has been a mainstay of the organization ever since. Besides typical training responsibilities, Klein also manages team nutrition, exercise programs, and various administrative responsibilities.
In 2003 and 2005, Klein accompanied the U.S. Junior Select Team to the Viking Cup Tournament in Alberta. He worked as the athletic trainer for U.S. entries at the World Junior A Challenge in 2007, 2008, 2010, 2011, and 2012. A member of the Professional Hockey Athletic Trainers Society and National Athletic Trainers Association, Klein was on the bench for the 2003 and 2007 USHL All-Star Games.
A multi-sport athlete at Washington High School in Vinton, Klein studied Athletic Training at Minnesota State-Mankato.
